We met in first grade while growing up in Hawai`i.  Leslie saw a drawing Kathy did and said, “I’m going to write books and you’re going to do the illustrations.”  Decades later we accomplished our dream by creating many children’s books.  Currently we have seven titles: Fables from the Garden, Fables from the Sea, Fables from the Deep, Fables Beneath the Rainbow, Aloha 'Oe, A Fishy Alphabet, and Celebrating Holidays in Hawaii!  Our first three books won the Hawaii Po’okela Award for Excellence in Children’s Books.
